Tis The Season

Tis the season to be jolly my fellow readers! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I spent it at my house for a change with my grandparents and my uncle and his family. Our Thanksgiving was filled with laughter, food, and Black Friday shopping. I'm so blessed to have family like them around. I've realized that I'm the type of person who depends on people to be around and I know there are times when I won't have someone around me 24/7. I just like the company of people because I find I get really sad, lonely, and scared if someone isn't in close proximity. It may sound pretty lame or childish but it's who I am and I'm not going to fake it. Having to go back to school after the nice Thanksgiving break I'll admit was pretty hard and I wasn't ready. Ever since we went back I've been counting down the days till Christmas break because I'm so ready for a some-what longer break. I've also been counting down the days till my family moves. It's looking like we'll finally be out of Roanoke after Christmas break. I'm very excited because I'm so done with Roanoke and my school. I understand it's High School but I just can't stand going to High School here in Roanoke. There are some people that made me wish they were coming too, but there just apart of chapter I must move on from.Yesterday I got to spend some nice quality father-daughter time with my dad while in Franklin County watching some guys from my music store jam at some festival. They played great and I had good time. Going to music festivals and concerts I've noticed is one thing that bring my dad and I closer together and I'm so happy because of that because I hold music so close to my heart along with him. I'm just really looking forward to watching more Christmas movies and spending more time with my crazy family these holidays. I'm just blessed for my crazy family in general even though we fight sometimes I love them so much. Not just because they buy me stuff like One Directions concert tickets in Chicago. I was so excited after asking my parents a couple of times to buy them for me. I was even more overjoyed when we got floor seats. Haha that's another date I'm already counting down! I hope everyone has a great weekend and I wish you all a Happy Holidays! The song I leave you all with is "Family"-Hanni El Khatib. ~Veronica <3 xx
